We are celebrating Aşık Veysel’s birthday with a concert and my version of famous Uzun Ince Bir Yoldayim will be released on the same day, as well.

Serdar Oztop Anatolian Rock Orchestra made a magnificent start with the concert titled “Inspiring Bards” hosted by Directorate of Orchestras of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality at famous Cemal Resit Rey Concert Hall on December 14th 2023. A repertoire consists of orchestral arrangements made by Serdar Oztop for well known songs ot the 3 famous bards of 20th century, as well as original songs influenced from this culture. The audience had a great experience with the impressive performances of the guest artists; Ozan Bircan, Cahit Berkay, Murat Evgin, Burak Gürpınar, Ogün Sanlısoy, Nejat Yavaşoğulları and Rojin.
Murat Meriç played LPs of Anatolian music before the concert and hosted the show with Abtülkadir Elçioğlu.
I’ve recorded this anthem for the Youth and Sports Day of the 100th year of Turkish Republic. I hope it raises moral and courage on these critical days our country is going through.

Onur Özaydın has been drawing attention lately for his role in a prime time TV series, Yargi and now he is taking another step as a singer/songwriter with his new single, Yalan Yok. As usual, I took care of the whole production and performed many of the instruments.
